I'm 29 and I recently discovered a rare type of congenital heart defects. This is called a standard venous sinuses and is the least common type of atrial septal defect (ASD). The defect is) a hole in the wall (septum) between the two upper heart chambers (atria. There are three types of the name of the TSA in relation to their position in the atrial septum, is to me the venous sinuses, and it is relatively rare.
Doctors said they needed surgical closure of the lesion. But I would like to obtain a second opinion before undergoing surgery.
